‘The Enchanted World of Emilily’ gets a full page in Kidscreen Magazine

We’re excited to see our show ‘The Enchanted World of Emilily’ get a full page in the Cool New Shows section of the latest Kidscreen magazine (page 78)! The Enchanted World of Emilily is a magical bridge series by All In One Production (France), Syon Media (Canada) and White Boat Pictures (Belgium). Syon Media is launching a brand new animated series based on the children’s book “A Story Please!!!”

Thanks to the support of SODEC – Société de développement des entreprises culturelles and the Canada Media Fund | Fonds des médias du Canada, Syon Media is launching a brand new animated series based on the wonderful children’s book A Story Please!!! by Anne Renaud, illustrated by Sophie PA (Éditions La courte échelle). We can’t wait to tell you more about it!

The Beachbuds are heading to Annecy!

We are pleased to announce that Syon Media has been appointed as The Beachbuds’ international distributor. We can’t wait to be back at MIFA in Annecy (France) with this amazing series and a lot of other cool projects.

Syon Media to distribute The Beachbuds in France

Syon Media has been recently appointed as the distributor of the animated series The Beachbuds (52 x 11’) for France. The Beachbuds is a co-production between J-Toon and Syon Media which has already been acquired internationally by Disney Japan and SEA, ABC Australia and Warner Bros. Discovery Latin America. (Worldwide distribution: Odin’s Eye)

Syon Media is attending TAC (Ottawa) and MipJunior / MIPCOM (Cannes)

Syon Media will highlight 3 brand new animated series in development at TAC and MipJunior / Mipcom: Caveman Bill (52 x 11’), an original production set in the prehistoric times aimed at kids 7+ and their families, The Enchanted World of Emilily (26 x 11’), a magical comedy produced by Syon Media and France’s All In One Production aimed at 4 to 7-year-olds and Eugenie & The Mysteries of Paris (8 x 23’), an adventure based on the comic book series written by Eric Summer (Ballerina) and aimed at kids from 7 to 12 years old.

Thanks to the SODEC’s support, Syon Media will soon launch the production of Alouette

Alouette tells the story of Lou, a young, outgoing and cheerful architect who lives by herself in Montreal. Her life was dramatically turned upside down the day a strange being with a broad smile attacked her in the streets. This assault left her with a barely noticeable wound on her forehead. This wound became infected and started growing disproportionately, making her daily life unbearable. Ravaged by shame and anger, Lou remained cloistered in her home until one day she found the strength to come to terms with her condition and ask for help.

This animated short is a co-production between Syon Media (Canada) and Bagan Films (France). The screenplay and production will be handled by Myriam Obin, the music by Benoît Charest and the international distribution by Syon Media and Next Film distribution.

Tom’s Tiny Toys selected for the Pulcinella Awards 2021 – TV Series Pilot

Syon Media is thrilled to announce that Tom’s Tiny Toys has been selected for the Pulcinella Awards 2021 of Cartoons on the Bay in the “TV Series Pilot” category!
Cartoons on the Bay is an International Children’s Television Festival promoted by Rai.

The Beachbuds to premiere exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar

J-Toon Productions and Syon Media have signed a deal with Disney+ Hotstar for the first season of the animated television series The Beachbuds.

Aimed at kids aged 6 to 11, The Beachbuds is set in Zoobak Resort, a tropical island paradise with funny feathered friends ready to welcome its guests. The series, which teaches children about harmony, hospitality and humor, is slated to premiere later this year.

Ottawa International Animation Festival 2020: ‘Tom’s Tiny Toys’ reached the semi-finals of the Pitch THIS! competition

Syon Media is proud to announce that its newest animated series in development ‘Tom’s Tiny Toys’ is one of the semi-finalists of the first ever virtual Pitch THIS! competition of the Ottawa International Animation Festival 2020. Founded in 1976, the Ottawa International Animation Festival is the largest competitive animated film festival in North America and is among the most respected forums for animated art in the world.
